The King’s Speech at the State Opening of Parliament sets out the new government’s agenda, and right off we are being informed that Labour will create a long promised Great British Energy.

The Labour Party’s vision is a public owned entity Based in Scotland to accelerate green investment and create new environmentally sound technologies under a "clean energy transition" that will not only create greater energy security and protect the planet but also lower household bills.

The King also references SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) and, of course, water quality.
