Airswift has released its ninth annual Global Energy Talent Index (GETI), featuring insights from almost 11,000 professionals of 150 nationalities, showing that nearly half of renewable energy salaries have risen as oil and gas firms move investment into the sector.
The report reveals that 48 per cent of renewable salaries rose in 2025 as workers seek more localised work and employers seek to transfer skills from other sectors.
Renewables professionals received a 35 per cent five years ago, and 21 per cent are now receiving over 5 per cent rises.
Optimism remains high, despite recent reversals in oil and gas companies, as the scale of infrastructure needed in the transition will be considerable and skills are likely to remain at a premium.
