British smart home energy technology manufacturer myenergi has switched the energy supply of its operations to Good Energy, using renewable electricity in an hourly matching service.
The company’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities will be backed by fully renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs) from Good Energy’s generators across the year, and will also be matched by the hour 90 per cent of the time.
Running in parallel to its new supply from Good Energy, the Zappi EV charger maker’s headquarters and production facility in Stallingborough features a 594-panel, 260kWp solar array, which provides more than 20 per cent of the site’s electricity requirement.
Carl Allen, CEO, myenergi commented: “As one of the originators of the clean energy industry in the UK with a commitment to truly renewable power, Good Energy is a perfect partner for our energy supply. Being able to see the data on how our electricity usage is matched with the output from their portfolio of renewable generators in real time means we can practice what we preach to our customers and supports the transition to renewable energy.”
