Global Biodiversity Framework Fund

Additional contributions of $163m from Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, the UK, and the Province of Québec have been made to the Global Biodiversity Framework Fund (GBFF).

The UK leads the pack with $58.4m, followed by Germany ($54.1m) and Denmark ($14.5m).

The GBFF, established in 2023 in response to COP15, aims to help scale up financing for the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework to help developing countries.
