Reports in The Telegraph indicate that Chinese wind turbine maker Ming Yang is seeking to overturn a Government ban.
The company was stopped from work in the UK, being described as a national security risk earlier this year, forcing the company to cancel plans for a manufacturing hub in Inverness.
But a new Prime Minister might mean that the Government could take a different view, and Ming Yang are dangling both jobs and potential industrial growth before the administration.
In addition to the, undisclosed, security issues, there are also questions over state support for the Chinese company, something Western rivals have queried.
