The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has announced that 836 organisations, representing over $26tr in assets under management (AUM) have now committed to corporate reporting aligned to the TNFD recommended disclosures.
The new total represents a 14 per cent increase since COP30 in November 2025 and an increase of 12 per cent in AUM.
The latest adoption figures signal further momentum in nature-related corporate reporting commitment and practice. Using AI agents to identify and assess actual reporting practice, the TNFD has found that over 1,100 organisations are now making one or more nature-related disclosures aligned to the TNFD recommendations. The global average is 8 out of the 14 TNFD recommended disclosures.
The Taskforce has also released an update of its recommendations and a v2.0 update of its LEAP assessment approach, both of which were first published in September 2023 and have been the basis for market adoption since then.
