The FA launches community club near Wembley Stadium

The Football Association (The FA) is opening the doors of Wembley Stadium to charities, schools and community groups across Brent and the local area with the launch of The FA’s Wembley Community Club.

The aim of The FA’s Wembley Community Club is to bring together, celebrate and support not-for-profit charities, schools and community groups, and provide them with greater access to events and facilities at the national stadium.

It will be free to join for charities, schools and community groups from Brent and the local area, and its members will receive access to a range of exclusive benefits from The FA and Wembley Stadium.

FA Marketing, communications & public affairs director, Joanna Manning-Cooper, said: "The creation of The FA’s Wembley Community Club is part of our ongoing commitment to play an active role in the local area that we serve. Wembley Stadium is at the heart of Brent, and this gives us a unique opportunity to engage with and support our neighbours, offering them unforgettable experiences and memorable moments at the home of English football.

"The community around Wembley Stadium are the lifeblood of the area, and we want to continue to forge great relationships with them – whilst also helping to support the wonderful and valuable work that the charities, schools and community groups across Brent and the local area do to help improve lives."
