The quality of beer is likely to decline due to climate change, and even lager drinkers might notice.

Good beer might become rarer and more expensive as climate changes affect the number and quality of hops, that is according to a new study published in the journal Nature Communications.

Although British hops will be affected, the worst areas will be in Slovenia, Portugal and Spain, with even cooled lagers having reduced aroma.
